Eric is a Senior Executive Search Consultant at AIMS International Sweden with an abundance of international experience creating the board and leadership teams capable of driving business transformation and growth.
At AIMS International, he focuses mainly on Technology, Media & Entertainment and Telecommunications including the Consumer aspects of technology and digital businesses.
Eric has a varied professional background, ranging from large international organisations to the tech start-up world, but always with a focus on business transformation, change, scaling and growth. I doing so, he has recruited and build multiple high performing teams and board members.
Eric’s substantial experience of leading business transformation and growth, both as an executive and consultant, means he is well placed to identify highly capable leaders.
Eric’s most recent achievement is building his own consultancy business as an independent consultant, working for large media industry corporations, telcos, private equity, venture capital and technology start-ups.
Eric holds a Bachelor of Journalism from the University of Gothenburg, Sweden, a Master´s Degree in Business Administration from Hult Ashridge Business School in the UK, and a Diploma in Leadership from Auckland University Business School, New Zealand. He is also a certified Board member by the Swedish Academy of Board Directors.
I have lived in Sweden (twice), UK (twice), France, Holland, Australia, New Zealand, the U.S and the UAE with responsibility for over 40 markets in EMEA and APAC. It is no surprise that I am energised and inspired by an international approach and environment such as AIMS International provides. Privately, I am also highly interested in the cultures and peoples of the world. Having lead and recruited for growth and transformation for many years in the ambiguous environment in the digital, technology and media sector, I have come to realise that success is all dependent on the individuals involved and how they function as a team.
My interests include tennis, rugby as I am an All Blacks supporter from my time in New Zealand, Martial Arts, and I have to admit to being a history nerd. I also enjoy storytelling in all its forms, movies, books and audio, especially the documentary, biographical and factual genres. Music has always played a part in my life, and I am a true three-chord hero on guitar and a reasonable harmonica player.
